Dr Bo Hou
Bo Hou is a Senior Research Fellow in Applied Health Statistics (0.5 FT) in the NIHR Central London Patient Safety Research Collaboration (CL PSRC) and the UCL Division of Surgery and Interventional Science. Bo joined CL PSRC in Jan 2024. He is a quantitative researcher with research interests related to health inequalities, casual inference and electronic health records. Bo also is a lecturer (0.5 FT) in Population and Social Sciences at the Leicester Medical School.
Previously Bo worked as a Senior Research Fellow in Health Inequalities at Bradford Institute for Health Research, where he worked with the Born in Bradford family cohort studies and the Connected Bradford project - a large linked patient level dataset. Prior to that, Bo was a post-doc fellow at Peking University. He obtained BSc Economics from Bristol University, MSc Economics and PhD Social Statistics from the University of Manchester.
