NIHR Patient Safety Research Collaborations

NIHR PSRCs are strategic alliances between the National Health Service (NHS) and leading universities in England. These collaborations are dedicated to developing, validating, and testing innovative approaches and interventions that aim to improve the safety of patients and health services. By leveraging the strengths of both the NHS and academic institutions, we work together to identify practical solutions to pressing safety challenges in healthcare.

Our Mission

At the Central London PSRC, our mission is to enhance the health and wealth of the nation by reducing health inequalities through targeted research aimed at minimising harm in SPACE specialties: Surgical, Perioperative, Acute, and Critical care.
