Nausheen Saleem
Nausheen Saleem is the Deputy Delivery Manager for Research & Innovation at University College London Hospitals Foundation Trust (UCLH) and a Research Associate at the UCL Institute of Health Informatics. Nausheen is responsible for embedding research into the electronic health records system, enabling UCLH to become a world class academic research hospital. She has previously led the implementation of the Epic Research Module helping UCLH become the fastest adopter of Epic Research module functionality worldwide. She was then promoted to Deputy Delivery Manager focusing on the admin and access functionality within Epic.
Nausheen's career in clinical research started whilst reading her MSc in Molecular Medicine at Imperial College London, with her dissertation focusing on analysing responses to immunotherapy for Allergic Rhinitis. She has over 5 years of experience within the clinical research field, previously holding the position of Senior Clinical Trials Practitioner running non-malignant haematology trials and managing several research teams. Nausheen has extensive experience of research governance gained whilst leading the audit group at the Cancer Clinical Trials Unit at UCLH and undergoing Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) inspections. Nausheen is an Associate of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics (FCI).
