Laura obtained her PhD working in the Human Cancer Genetics Programme at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO, Madrid). She has completed postdoctoral research projects at Mount Sinai School of Medicine (New York), Rockefeller University (New York) and the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium). She then joined the European Cancer Patient Coalition (ECPC, Belgium) motivated to contribute her expertise in improving health care outcomes through collaborative research efforts. She is currently part of the Central London Patient Safety Research Collaboration as operations/programme manager, where she aims to increase the impact of her work on society.
