Children's Acute Surgical Abdomen Programme: predictors of outcome of major emergency abdominal surgery in children

This study will evaluate the risk factors for postoperative complications in children undergoing non-appendicitis major abdominal surgery. We are analysing a cohort of nearly 300 children treated across England. The primary outcome is complications, measured using the Clavien-Dindo system.
